Providence (6-1-1) beat hosts Floyd Central (6-3-1)  by a 2-1 scoreline in a tightly  contested matchup between the two girls’ rivals  tonight.

Erin Duncan put the Pioneers in front after five minutes and they held the lead until Taylor Patty’s equalizer for the Highlanders with 14:45 left on the clock in the second half.

Just three minutes later, Cristian May-Boquiren blasted home what turned out to be the winner.
